Viewing Reports
The report page consists of patient demographic information at the top,
followed by information on who wrote the report and when. The remainder
of the report page displays the Observation
and Impression sections of the
report, as well as addendums that have been added to the original report.
If an addendum does exist, a hyperlink to the last addendum appears immediately
above the Observation section. Reports can be displayed with various methods.
To display the report:

the worklist see: Worklist

the web viewer see: Report Panel

the desktop viewer see:
Depending on which method the report is opened (eg., desktop viewer
or worklist ),certain functions exist on the different report pages:
- Back
to List - Return to the worklist
- Edit
- Edit the report. Enabled with Edit
Report rights
- When
editing a report, use the
Cancel or Save
button to release the report for editing by others.
- On
some browsers, the browser’s Back button leaves the study locked
- Open
- Open the study in the viewer. Enabled with Open
rights
- Print
Friendly - Print a formatted copy of the report and the key images
- Dictate
- Record dictation for this study. Enabled if you have Report rights.
- Approve
- Officially approve the report. Once approved, changes are recorded
as an addendum. Enabled with Report
rights
- Listen
- Listen to an existing dictated report
- Redictate
- Edit the existing dictation
- Unfinal
- Restore a report state to Preliminary for subsequent editing and
approval.
- Delete
- Remove the last unapproved addendum in a study
The browser report page is customizable. You can define the patient
demographics that appear on the report, which text sections exist, reposition
some of the areas, and customize the facility information.
