To copy or reset viewer settings between one or more existing accounts
or restore a user's viewer profile from a previous state, use the Manage Viewer Profile function from the Admin/User Accounts page.
From Admin/User accounts find
the source user account then click the Manage
Viewer Profile icon
Search for users by typing a target user in the Select users box or use the Select groups drop down menu to select an entire group of users.
NOTE: selected user accounts
and groups are listed below the search boxes. Click the to clear the selection.
Search for the viewer settings you wish to manage by either using the search box or individual viewer sections. An Expand/Collapse all button is available.
Each section and individual setting has three options:

Don't change it | Leaves the setting unchanged and in its current state. This is the default for all settings in the configuration panel. |

Reset in target profile | Resets the setting(s) to the server defined or factory default setting. |

Copy to target profile | Copies the source user's setting to the target user(s). |
To review all changes before they are saved, click on the Toggle
summary view button
to automatically display all settings marked for changes.
Click on the Confirm button to apply changes.
The desktop viewer and server support automatic and custom viewer profile backups. Use this section to create and delete custom backups or restore the profile from a previous backup point.
To restore a profile from a previous backup point, click the Restore
button on the listed profile backup.
NOTE: If the user account being restored has an active viewer session open, a message is displayed to the administrator. The administrator must ensure the user is logged out of the viewer session before completing the profile restoration.
To save an automatic profile backup as a new custom backup, click the
Save as new backup button from the list or select one from the Create
custom backup from drop down menu. Type a description in
the text field then click the Save
button.
To delete a custom backup, click the Delete
button. Then click again to confirm
during the allotted time.
NOTE: Auto-created backup files cannot be deleted manually. They are deleted automatically.
