Technologist View

The Technologist View allows authorized technologists to review and modify images and series to be viewed later by the user. To open the Technologist View area, select the Technologist view icon (can be added to worklist if unavailable).

• - forward selected series and/or objects

• - full reprocess

• - clear cache

• - large images

• - medium images

• - small images

• - collapse all

• - expand all

• - view tasks

• - close

There are rows in the tech view page that contain the series of the study.  Within these rows, when expanded, are the images for the series. To expand the row, right click on the line item.

Image thumbnail sizes can be customized in the Preferences area. Default size is small images or 64x64. To override the default image size within the tech view, select the small, medium, or large images icons (,,) . To collapse all of the studies select the Collapse all icon. To expand all of the studies, select the Expand all icon.

Located on each end of the image carousel are two arrows:

• Use the Next arrow to see the next group of images in the carousel.   
• Use the Previous arrow to go back to the beginning of the image carousel.   

Tech View Series Tools

Located in the study are four icons:

• - edit study

• - cancel

• - open series (opens in web viewer)

• - delete series

Editing a Series

To edit a study:

1. Select the icon

2. Make any necessary changes

3. Select the Save icon

Select the Cancel icon to cancel study editing.

From the edit study area, the technologist is able to change:

• Study ID

• Date and time

• Modality

•  Study Description

Deleting a Series

To delete a study, select the Delete series icon and select again before countdown ends to confirm delete. 

Deleting Objects in a Series

Designated technologists are able to delete images, attachments and presentation states from a series.

To delete the image or object in the series:

1. Left click on the image to reveal a window

2. Select the Delete icon

Forwarding a Series and/or Object

User accounts with Forward rights can also forward select series and/or objects to external devices.

To forward a series or object:

1. Use the multi selection checkbox to select an entire series or click on an image or object to select individual items (selected items will be highlighted by a conspicuous border)

2. Click the Forward selected series and/or objects icon

3. Select destination device from list

4. Click Forward icon to begin partial study forward
