DICOM Server

DICOM server settings define parameters for DICOM communications. Editing the DICOM SCP settings requires support rights.

To set the DICOM settings:  

  1. Go to the Admin/Server Settings
  2. Select DICOM Server
  3. Make the necessary changes
  4. Click the Save icon and Restart

The following settings are available:

Storage AE Title

Queries sent return information about all the data in the system. Some devices require using a different AE Title when sending and querying a PACS.  Alternative AEs can be added by clicking the Add new icon

Query AE Title

Used when a second AE Title is required.  Note: In earlier versions of the PACS, the Archive Query AE Title was used to search the entire archive. Existing devices using this configuration can still use the Archive Query AE Title for this purpose.

Preferred transfer syntax

SCU defined

Displays the requested DICOM transfer syntax used when transferring DICOM objects over an established association. Change the default by selecting the preferred value from the list.

Maximum receive PDU size

System default setting for keeping DICOM associations open between transmission requests.

Allow fallback to older TLS versions

Disabled

Enable support for weak cyphers. Enabling this setting is not recommended.
