Disk Limit

The disk limit settings defines the watermark for free space and the cache space. Support rights are required to edit these settings.

To adjust disk limits:

1. Go to Admin/Server Settings
2. Select the Disk Limit settings area
3. Set the watermarks
4. Select Save icon

The parameter options are:

• Automatic Purge
• true
• false
• exclude reports - will purge all minus reports
• Safety Free Limit
•  free space high water mark
• should be set to 2-5% of the disk.
• Half of this is the low water mark
• When available disk space reaches  low water mark the server purges unneeded data until it reaches the high water mark
• Minimum Cache Size
• the desired cache space
• cache size should be set to 3-5 times the daily study volume
• should be entered as a percentage of the disk size
• one time a day the system purges unneeded data to make room for the minimum cache.
