Print Layouts

Users can customize and save their own print layouts using print layout templates.  These are user-specific templates stored in the users's profile.  They define specific options such as film sheet layout, film type and a specific printer.

Creating a Print Layout Template

  1. Select Session/Print/Show print panel
  2. Select a printer type tab: Window or DICOM
  3. From the printer list, select the printer
  4. Define printer specific settings.  The available options and procedure for setting them depend on the printer type and default printer.  Refer to the print panel documentation for additional details.
  5. Click the Create New Layout button
  6. Enter a name for the layout
  7. By default, the list contains the session modalities for new layouts.  If you wish to make the layout available for all modalities, select the listed modality value(s) then select Remove or Remove all
  8. Click OK to save

Setting Default Layouts

To configure a layout as default, use the Make default button when saving a new layout or editing an existing one.

When Make default automatically setting is enabled, newly added modalities are automatically made default.

Managing Print Layouts

Existing print layouts may be edited or deleted from the print panel or print settings.  Click the Manage print layouts button from the print panel or click the Manage print layouts options from the print settings page
