Basic Mouse Functions

Many functions can be performed from the mouse by default. 

These include:

Dynamic Zooming

It is possible to zoom an image by holding down both left and right mouse buttons and drag up to enlarge the image and down to shrink it. The cursor becomes a magnifying glass until you release the mouse buttons.

Image Panning

To move an image you must first enlarge or shrink it by holding down both mouse buttons and dragging up or down

Then left click too hold and drag the image. The cursor becomes a closed hand until you release the mouse button.

Windowing and Leveling

Press and hold down the right mouse button while you drag the mouse. Right and left movements increase and decrease the window width.  Backward and forward movements increase and decrease the window center. When you release the mouse, the PACS updates the other images in the series by applying the same offset.

Full Page Mode

Double left clicking on any image frame to enter full page mode and double left click again to return to the image frame.

Revert to Default Cursor Mode

Clicking on the middle mouse button will change the cursor to the  normal cursor or default cursor mode.
