Digital Forms

Summary

This enhancement Digital Forms adds the ability to map Portal screening question answers into Digital Forms, like any other RIS field.

Feature Description

Currently, the Patient and Provider Portal can present questions about the patient's appointment, and store responses as part of the scheduling (or ordering) process.

Previously, these values were displayed on the Portal tab, but RIS did not allow any additional logic to be created based on the answers, nor was the information available to the radiologist.

With this change, these answers are now available for mapping into Digital Forms. This allows the answers to be mapped into a Digital Form that can be easily visible to the radiologist during dictation, additional questions in Digital Forms to be configured in order to continue a workflow (e.g., perhaps the staff must answer a follow-up question related to one of the patient's answers).

Configuration Instructions

No System Administrator actions are necessary to enable this feature; however, optional configuration is available:

·         Digital forms may now be updated to map digital form questions via the portal procedure picker.

o    Unlike mapping to a traditional RIS database field, do not select the Update source data field when mapping to a portal question.
