This enhancement adds the Link Studies context menu option to the Reception and Technologist worklists, offering the same functionality available from the Patient Folder. While the functionality remains the same, it is now more convenient when there is a need to link studies at the time of registration or when the exams have already been started by the technologist.
User permissions are controlled by the existing Clinical.Linkstudies Access String.

Feature #27107 – New System Configuration settings for Inactivity and Session Timeouts
As an improvement to Portal security, two new System Configuration settings have been added to create timeouts based on portal user inactivity and overall session length. These two settings will apply to the Patient, Provider, and UM Portals.
· PortalInactiveTimeout
o Default = 15 minutes
o Number of minutes before an inactive portal session is terminated.
o User has the opportunity to request more time, which will reset the Inactivity timer.
· PortalSessionTimeout
o Default = 12 hours
o Absolute maximum number of hours for an active portal session.
o User cannot request more time and will be logged out at the end of the countdown.
For both timeouts, a warning message is displayed to the user that indicates why their portal session is timing out and a 60 second countdown timer is started. For the Inactivity timeout, the user can request more time (not available for the Session Length timeout).
Example:
When the countdown reaches 0 (or, in the case of the Inactivity timeout, the user clicks NO), the web session will terminate and log off the user, returning them to the log-on page. Any unsaved changes will be lost.
As a security measure, the error messaging on user ID and password reset screens has been modified to a generic message to prevent user enumeration (i.e. attempts to guess or confirm valid users). The error message now reads: “The system is unable to process the request. Please try again or Get Help.”
The modification has been made for the Patient, Provider, and UM Portals.
