Provider Images

Summary

This enhancement to Provider Images introduces the ability for Portal Quick View to display multi-frame images.

Previously, the RIS Portal Quick View assumed all PACS objects contained a single image. However, this is not always the case, as some image standards (such as MG Tomosynthesis) support multi-frame objects.

With this change, both the full and web viewers will now display all frames of images in a series. The count of the images in the series now reflects the number of frames; for example, a series with 1 image with 82 frames will display a count of 82.

Click the “hamburger” menu (on the right) for a series to see the additional images.

Configuration Instructions

No System Administrator actions are necessary to enable this feature.
