Summary
This enhancement to Insurance Management auto-populates employer's name when that information is returned in the 271 Eligibility response.
Background
Previously, within the Managed Policies grid, the employer’s name would need to be manually inputted in order to capture that information.
To optimize workflow, if the employer’s name returns with the 271 eligibility response it will be auto-populated into the Employer’s Name field within the Managed Policies grid.
Feature Description
Due to the inconsistencies of how an employer’s name is reported within the 271 the new EmployerNameExclusions look up table has been introduced to assist in identifying the group names that will can be ignored when attempting to find the employer's name.
The Employer field will be equal to the Group Name, when the Group Name does not match any exclusion filters. If the Group name does not match any filter column values, the Employer column will be empty.

Note, if the Employer Name column has an existing value, that value will remain as the Employer Name column will only auto-populate newly found information if that field is empty.

Changes to AccessString Lookup Table Settings
· Set Config.LookupEditor.EmployerName permissions to Full for authorized users.
· Grant access permissions as necessary.

New EmployerNameExclusion Lookup Table
The EmployerNameExclusion RIS System Configuration table was added to assist with inconsistent reporting of employer's information from the Payers.
· This table has 5 columns
o Employer Name Exclusion Key
o Exclusion Filter
§ This column will store different employer names with keywords and symbols that can be matched to the returned Group Name information with the 271 Eligibility return.
o Last Updated
o Last Updated by User ID
o Active Flag
