This release of eRAD RIS 4.2024.046 addresses some elements the issue identified in eRAD RIS Service Bulletin 20240415 - Digital Forms Data Mismatch by disabling the functionality introduced by Feature #30385 – Dynamically refresh Digital Forms when Patient/Visit/Order/Study values are updated for non-patient-level data.

Addresses Digital Forms issue where information was being duplicated over multiple Digital Forms. With this change, the functionality introduced by Feature #30385 – Dynamically refresh Digital Forms when Patient/Visit/Order/Study values are updated has been disabled for non-patient-level data. |
The following significant limitations have been identified and should be communicated to affected users:
· Bug #35436- Follow up question answers to No/Unsure answers are not being saved when Portal Questions are mapped to DF in the procedure picker lookup
o Issue: When portal questions are mapped directly to a digital form, and a question is answered as "No or Unsure", values for any associated follow-up questions are not saved when scheduling the study.
o Impact: When the issue occurs, viewing the study in RIS will display the values for follow-up questions on the Connect Portal tab as expected but they are not populated on the digital form. Affects both Patient Portal and Provider Portal.
o Workaround: No known workaround.
A resolution to the above issues is anticipated in a future release with the resolution of:
· Bug #35416 - Data mismatch due to copying of data from RIS UI to Digital Forms
The following additional limitations have been identified and will be resolved in a future release:
· Bug #35435 - Two-way mapped digital form questions behaving differently when saved with or without study status change
o Issue: If a data change in the RIS UI occurs, it is not saved to both RIS and the Data Form as expected if saved by clicking the "Save" button.
o Impact: When the issue occurs, the original digital form answer is both retained and copied back to the UI field in RIS, overwriting the previous value. Note this issue predates the changes in this release.
o Workaround: If the data change in the RIS UI is saved along with a status change, then the new answer will be copied to the digital form (replacing the original answer) as expected.
For clarity, the following save behavior was verified:
· Expected behavior by design (from #35415)
When Portal questions are mapped to Digital Form questions via the procedure picker, and a study is created in either the patient or provider portal, the answers are saved to the form as expected, without the user having to open the study in RIS.
However, if Digital Form questions are mapped to pull Portal question answers, users must click the Digital Form tab to ensure all values are saved as expected (this behavior is unchanged from previous releases).
