Validation Rules

Summary

This enhancement to Validation Rules increases the allowable length for validation rule messages from 250 to 1000 characters.

When creating validation rules, administrators define a message that will be displayed to the user when the conditions of the rule are met, typically providing instructions for how the user should proceed. Previously, this MessageTemplate field had a character limit of 250.

With this change, the character limit for the field has been increased to 1,000 characters and a new control allows the user to view and edit the value in a scrollable field.
