Display the applied compression ratio values as overlay information on each image. Compression must be selected as an overlay field from the DICOM Fields panel. To configure the overlay, open the Customize Settings window from the Settings menu and select the DICOM Fields tab. Select the modality type and the location (quadrant) of the image to contain the information. In the Info section, select Compression and click on Add Info.
To display the overlay data on the image, click View/Show Image Info or press the F10 key.
When configured to load the images using a lossy compression ratio, you can request the remaining data by clicking the Lossy Compression Warning indicator, , in the top left corner of the image frame. The viewer retrieves the remaining data, renders the lossless compressed image and removes the warning indicator.
