When closing a study, the viewer can set the study state to its new state based on the information added during the viewer session. For example, if you opened a study that was in the Unviewed state and dictated a report, the viewer can automatically set the state to Dictated when you close the viewer.
To configure the states, open the Customize Settings panel from the Settings menu, and select the Settings tab. Click the Proposes States button to pop up the configuration window. Select the state for each of the conditions.
The conditions available for setting the state are as follows:
