Monitor configuration

Select which monitors the viewer uses to display images. By default, the viewer uses all configured monitors. To change the setup, click Settings/Customize Settings/View.

The monitor section of the tab window contains the settings for all monitors. The number of monitors setting is for splitting a single monitor into multiple viewer monitors. Set this to 1x1 unless all monitors are combined into a single screen.

The pull-down menu lists available monitors. The monitor number is the number assigned to the monitor in the Windows display settings. One monitor must be assigned the Primary monitor. The primary monitor contains the thumbnail images, and is where most popup windows appear by default.

Check the Disable box to remove the viewer from a particular monitor. If you have a color monitor, but cannot display color images when the color palette mode is enabled, the viewer was unable to automatically detect settings.

Changes to monitor settings take affect after you save the customized settings.
