A CAD marker provides computer-aided diagnosis to mammography images. The viewer supports the Hologic Cenova (formerly R2 Image Checker) and iCAD SecondLook (including former VuCOMP mVu). Refer to the CAD systems's user manual to learn more about the CAD workstation features and functions.
If a study
consists of a CAD marker, the presentation state icon
appears in the top left corner of the image, when displayed in an image
frame. Displaying CAD markers requires the Mammography plug-in module
license.
To apply a CAD marker, follow these steps:
Click on the presentation state icon in the top left corner of the image. The presentation state selection window appears.
Select
the CAD marker you want to display, and click on apply. The icon changes
to a partially applied presentation state icon, .
Repeat this process for each image.
The number and type of marker is listed beside the CAD system logo at the top of the image.
The Show/Hide CAD Marker tool on the Presentation Toolbar toggles the setting for all images in the viewer. Click the button to advance through each of the available states.
