Desktop Viewer
The viewer uses multiple streaming technologies when opening images that are needed on demand and have not been pre-cached.
HTTP - Streaming using HTTP protocol
WSS - Streaming using web socket streaming protocol
A streaming server status indicator can be found in each viewer window's title bar next to the sizing buttons.
The following icons are used to provide streaming information:

WSS no data transferred within the last second | |
WSS transfer rate is less than 4MB/sec or the response time is more than 200ms | |
WSS transfer rate is less than 12MB/sec or response time is more than 50ms | |
WSS transfer rate it more than 12MB/sec and the response time is less than 50ms | |
WSS has completed successfully | |
WSS warning or error while downloading. Also, if transfer rate is less than 256KB/sec or the response time is more than 500ms |

Label | Description |
Server | Server connection information |
Port override | Override port defined in experimental settings |
State | Status of the stream server: Starting, Running, Error, and Unknown |
Transfer rate (5 sec, avg) | Average transfer rate within the last 5 sec |
Average response time (min, max) | Average response time for last 50 received responses from the server. |
Warnings | Number of warnings during the most recent stream. Detailed warning information can be found in viewer logs. |
Errors | Number of errors during the most recent stream. Detailed error information can be found in viewer logs. |
